With this function, you not only save your own time and your customer's time, but you also significantly reduce the risk of machine breakdown. In simple words: you are moving from a manual to an automatic machine.

'FREE FOOT' function
In most milling machines, the handpiece is only operated by constantly pressing the pedal, making your foot constantly under strain and making the pedal seem like an unnecessary accessory. When developing the Krypton II, we modernised the pedal operation. It now has a pause function. That is, in foot control mode, you set the operating speed, press the pedal once, and work. If you need to pause, you simply press the pedal again. With another press, the milling machine will continue working at the previously set speed parameters and again save you a lot of time.

The 'PROTECTION+' function is the familiar overload protection, which has been further developed and improved.

It protects your milling machine from overloading and saves it from breakage in cases where you inserted the cutter and did not close the lock on the handpiece tightly or switched on the revolutions without setting the cutter. The milling machine will beep after 3-5 seconds, you will see error code E4 on the display, and the milling machine will automatically lock to prevent breakage of the micromotor or collet.

Also, this function comes in handy if the cutter size is set incorrectly in relation to the set RPM. For example, if you are working with a heavy cutter or subdisk at high RPM for a long time, the milling machine will automatically detect the overload limit and give you an error and stop the work.

All you have to do is pause for a short time to reset the milling machine.

And now to the most important thing - the lightweight micromotor handpiece.
KRYPTON developers managed to reduce the weight of the handpiece by almost 30% without losing functionality.
The weight of the updated handpiece is only 165 grams, and it is equipped with a speed of 30,000 revolutions per minute.
Thanks to its slim and short design, the handpiece fits perfectly in the hand. It is adapted to the natural shape of the hand, making it more comfortable to work with.

The lightweight handpiece allows better control of movements, which is very important when working on cuticles, levelling the nail plate, or working on small details.
No matter what technique you are manicuring in - a lightweight handpiece will provide stability and comfort in any situation.

But even here, we wouldn't be us if we hadn't perfected this handpiece by equipping it with a double locking mechanism for the cutter - SmartLock.

In a single locking handpiece, the cutter is held in place with a single locking element. This is suitable for medium speeds and simple tasks, but there is a risk of greater vibration at high speeds.

With the double clamping mechanism, the cutter is clamped with two clamping elements. This guarantees maximum stability and no vibration, even at high revolutions.
